How it works for dental clinics, end to end
- Step 1 Enquiry arrives WhatsApp, your website chat, an ad form or a missed call - day or night.
- Step 2 Understood in any language English, Hindi, Punjabi or Hinglish, typed or as a voice note. The patient taps, not types.
- Step 3 Booked into your real calendar Only free times, no double bookings, with the right dentist and chair time.
- Step 4 Reminders and follow-ups Two-way reminders, then recall or follow-up. Anything unusual goes to your team.

Typical dental flow
- "How much is a root canal?" gets the price from your list plus an offer to book a consultation.
- "I need a cleaning next week": the assistant asks if they've visited before, then shows real free times with the right dentist and books it.
- Reminders let patients confirm, reschedule or cancel by replying; a cancelled slot is offered to your waitlist.
- New patients get a short intake form on their phone; after the visit, a review request; six months later, a recall.
- A recommended crown that wasn't booked gets polite follow-ups, and you see the treatment value recovered.
What your dashboard shows
Missed calls recovered, appointments booked by the assistant, no-shows prevented, cancelled slots refilled, recall and reactivation bookings and treatment recovered, each with its definition. Values come from your own price list and are labelled as estimates; only amounts recorded at check-out count as collected.
A note for US healthcare providers
Nomisly does not currently sign HIPAA Business Associate Agreements. US practices must not store protected health information (diagnoses, treatment records) in Nomisly. Scheduling and general enquiries are fine; keep clinical details in your practice-management system.
Back-of-envelope ROI
Example: if you miss or answer late 15 enquiries a week, and 35% of answered enquiries book, at an average value of $180 / ₹3,000, recovering them is worth about $3,800 / ₹63,000 a month. Use the missed-call calculator to plug in your own numbers; these are illustrations, not promises.
Frequently asked questions
Can it give medical advice?
No. It answers practical questions (prices, timings, insurance accepted, preparation instructions you provide) and routes clinical questions to your team.
Does it support insurance questions?
Yes, from the insurer list and rules you add to your knowledge base.
Is it HIPAA compliant?
We don't claim HIPAA compliance and don't sign BAAs today. US clinics should keep PHI out of Nomisly.
Can it handle emergencies?
Life-threatening signs (trouble breathing, bleeding that won't stop) get your emergency message and number at once. Severe pain, swelling or a broken tooth create an urgent task for your team and an offer of the earliest appointment, with clear signs for when to go to hospital. It never gives treatment advice.
Does it replace my receptionist?
No. It handles the overflow: after hours, while the phone is busy, and the repetitive questions. Calls can ring reception first and only fall back to a WhatsApp text-back when nobody answers, and anything sensitive becomes a task for a person.
