Prompt injection
Text that tries to make an AI system ignore its instructions.

Prompt injection hides instructions in user messages or documents ("ignore previous instructions and…"). Defences include treating all retrieved text and customer messages as data, restricting what the assistant can do, and requiring confirmation for sensitive actions.
